Riding Lessons
It is my pleasure to work with horse and rider at any level to unravel the puzzle of their connection so that both are relaxed and free to enjoy grace and pure exhilaration of movement.
The part I play in the equation as the ground person is to watch for clues that reveal where a person’s unconscious holding of the body or disconnection impacts the ability for the horse to relax and give its all.
My approach to equine arts has been to understand and then put to use knowledge of biomechanics of movement. Curiosity about how beautiful movement happens has been my trainer. Underlying my work with anatomy, metaphors, biomechanics and humor is my deepest commitment to support the dignity of the horse.
